The below link will give you your adjustment numbers. Be sure to check Dish 500 in the pointing tool and enter in your zip code.

Okay, you have a dish 500, just remember it has to be leaning to the left as you are facing it. It will look funny, but it will be right. There is a skew adjustment on the back of the dish, 2 nuts to loosen, and that needs to be adjusted as per your zip code.
Make sure the mast pole is plumb, level front to back and side to side. Adjust the elevation on the side to the pointing tool's numbers.
For azimuth you will need a compass, and due south is 180 azimuth, so an azimuth of 210 is 30 degrees to the west of due south.
Both LNBs need to be setup, then, in the antenna setup on the receiver, one for Echo 7, one for Echo 8. If your LNB has big black letters that say DP on it you have a Dish Pro LNB , then you will only need to run one cable from the back of your receiver to one of the ports on the LNB. This LNB has a Diseqc switch built right into it. Just hang on to the switch you got with the receiver, you will not need this DiSEqC switch for this installation.
Antenna settings -> LNB type is OCS-DP for both.
Diseqc port 1 is for Echo 7.
Diseqc port 2 is Echo 8.
Be sure you are using Echo 7 and change the TP to 12239 in the antenna setup menu.
After all that is done above, you are ready to adjust and fine tune your dish. You may have signal already, meaning you could see quality on the meters, and that is dish pointing strength.
A good tip for you, when you move the dish around, slowly, either back and forth, or up and down slightly on the elevation, and if you see the level meter go up just a couple of numbers, you are getting close!
Finally, after you get your dish sighted in, you will need to load the latest bin file on it, and scan channels in your receiver.
Good Luck On Your Setup !!
