CW600S Premium + Tivo

Hi all - This is my first post, glad to be here. I just got my CW600 Premium, it is working great, but I miss my Tivo. Has anyone found a way to get the Tivo to work with the CW600? I tried several IR from the Tivo database but could not get it to control the CW.

I am not even able to turn on-off my (Sony) TV from the CW remote.

Hello & welcome, glad to have you.

From what i've read, your Tivo will not work with the CW600.....i could be wrong.
You may need to get the CW100 DVR....go to the forum, and read up on it.

Thank you for the quick reply. I will move the Tivo to another room, so no worries. I tried to d/l the codes file for the remote but it asked me about an upgraded subscription, do you know if what's up? I need the code for an old Sony TV.

nope,nobody modifies the bins to add tivo support for this unit.

as for controling your tv with your cw remote,very possible.

but you can google "tv remote codes"
and get tons of them.

yes,a guy called "chancysand" modifies pansat bins for use with tivo.
upon request,i can find the latest ones.once in awhile i post them also.
