Change Sat
I have hooked up my Dish network antenna, now scanning for the channels on EchoStar 1,2. Now after it gets done scanning only some of the channels are working. I had it working on Vu, now I am trying to get it to work on Dish. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Re: Change Sat
No I don't. I have one dish setup with 2 LNB's aimed at 110 and 119. Everytime I do a fast scan it only gives me about 200 channels but most say scrambled channel. So I am doing something wrong, just can't figure it out.

There is your problem you are not pointed at echostar 1 , 2 you are pointed at echostar 8 that is 110 . you are also pointed at echostar 7 that is 119.Change your installations screen to show these and you will get your channels.

You have two options for the dish setup that you have 82 , 91 bev on one dish.Option 2 110 , 119 on one dish. The echostar 1 as arbor is saying is 61.5 the echostar 2 is 148.0 it is not possible to get these two on one dish without a motor system.

Re: Change Sat
How do I change the instillation screen to add them? I solved one problem, the sid was turned off. Now I have a channel list but it says scrambled channel.

hit menu - choose instalation- configure the satellite (choose the one you think you are pointed at) it will show the quality and strength put 119 in disqc 1 and hit the blue button on remote. This will start the scan then repeat for 110 put it in disqc 2.if it shows a good signal hit the small blue button on remote again and this will start the scan.
One quick question did you move the dish , I know you said it was pointed to 91 and 82 veb or bev.If you didn't move it then it is still pointed at them and will need to be moved.
