Icon Bin
I read about the icon bin alot and it looks good with all the icons for each channel and I just want to ask the people that loaded the icon bin on there recveir
Did it work?
Did it mess up ur recvier?
Did it automatacaly put icons for all the channels?
and more question
Is is true that if you use a USB To Serial Adapter you are soppose to use Standby Mode not Boot Mode?

I loaded the icon bin on mine and it works great, it didn't mess it up at all. You can turn them on/off in the OSD menu.
I have always used a usb adpt. to load my bins and I have always used standby mode, works for me.

Re: Icon Bin
yeah icon bin rules!
you can always turn them off if for some odd reason you don't like 'em like deanluna says.
yes.it must be standby mode when using an adapter.must read: -:- then she's ready.
if you have problems.
load your list to the unit.
factory default-all.
then it goes into standby easier.
load it.
then load your list back.

I have to press the pwer button the first time you see 00:00 and after the 0 goes from left to right to get it into standby more
So I press the power button twice to get it into standby mode

to put your CW600 prem. into standby, let it boot up all the way untill the last channel you were watching is displayed on the screen. Then press and hold the front power button for 2secs and release. Repeat if nessary(if it doesn't display --:--)
Arb.Man is right..everything is easier after a factory default(all)...
