What is SID and how do you sort by SID can someone please tell me

Sorting by sid will put the channels in the order that you would see on a subbed receiver.

In the menu there might be an option to sort by sid, if so trun it to yes. sid is how the subbed receiver knows which order to put the channels in. When you scan a sat it has a random order to which they load, they also have sid and pid number assigned to them so that a sub can rearrange them in a logical order.

can someone tell me EXACTLY where to go, to sort by SID, because my favorites are mixed up thats why I need to sort by SID

Go to CHANNEL MANAGER>EDIT CHANNEL you should be able to sort your channels there.

I went there and I only see TV Channels, TV Favorities, Sort Channels, Timer, and Update Via

and in the Sort Channels I cant sort by SID

go here.see the "channel NO." you probably have it on "normal" change it to SID

Right click on the 'x' and then on Show Picture/Image
