HD Channels
I had 2 LNBs aimed at dish 110 and 119, can i get a hd reciever and get the hd channels or is there another sat that has those and if so what is it.

ya if you want HD channels go with the CW 3000HD or the Viewsat 9000HD there both greath recivers but the #1 HD reciver is the Viewsat 9000HD but it is much more expensive then the CW 3000HD because the Viewsat 9000HD is around 450$

No HD channels on 110/119
all the HD channels are on:
EchoStar 5 @ 129W - DN HD channels
Nimiq 2 @ 82W - Bev HD channels

Just a quick reply to not induce somebody in error and buy wrong receiver, NFUSION is not a hd receiver, just a standard receiver with iks system
i have nfusion sd channel, and captain 8000HD bev HD only

i have asked this before, and never got an answer, but do you need a special lnb type to pick up hd channels?

nope hd reciever and hd tv is what you need

ok keep in mind that im using a sv8000 with 8psk mod. 110 has hd channels heres a list 535,536,537,539,540 all those are ppv hd. there are more in the 9000's heres a few 9420 9421,9422,9423,9424,9431,9432,9456 (hbo),9460(sho-e), 9467

if your able to pick up a super dish 1000.2 that will give you 119/110/129. 129 has more hd channels. good luck

This link will show you all the sats out there both with & without HD....The source of satellite information I use.
HD - LyngSat HD
It will show you every channel out there sat by sat. For HD channels, 61.5 & 129 is great with more chns but there are a hand full of chns on 110 & 119 depending on your location. This is why 61.5 & 129 is great because location really isn't as big of a factor than the others. If the colum labled "Beam" list Conus then it means those chns are broadcasted everywhere in the US regardless of location.
