Re: Dn and Bev
B*V is the Canadian counterpart of DN. You can get both providers like sayosiris said with an extra antena or get an elliptical dish with 4 LNBs and you can catch all 4 sats (119, 110, 91 & 82)

Forgive my ignorance, but if don't ask I won't learn. With a elliptical dish you can get all 4 birds, right. I thought that you had to point your dish to a different direction to be able to get Bev. How does this dish receive all 4 signals? Is it becauese of it's bigger dimensions?

Re: Dn and Bev
Yes, basically the geography (size and shape) of an 18 x 24" eliptical dish does permit one to be able to scan from a number of SAT's with out for the need of a dish motor.
1 dish, 4 lnb's, 1, 5 position LNB Yoke/Mount and a Desq switch is what you'll need.

And here is how the whole setup would look like. And all you need. But this one is using a different bracket for the lnbs, you can tell because the outer LNBs are hanging, and holding on to the next LNB.
If you use the 5 LNB yoke that CG suggested it would make your life a little easier.

How do I know which "bird" I am using?
Can anyone give me advice on a new box? I'm looking for something that broadcasts in HD.

When you tune to a channels it should read Echo7, Echo8, Nimiq2, etc
Check here for a list of receivers and how they rate. --> http://www.abadss.com/forum/582-rece...07-awards.html
