1.70?-com port trouble
when i load the 1.70bin the cw600 screem apears e011 whats this is means and why i cant see the t.v. thanks.

E011: com port error.
E029: com port error.
reported fix i found:
"I disabled com1 in device manager leaving the null modem cable connected, re-enabled com1 and everything worked fine. It also happened to a friend of mine and I did the same thing and it also fixed his problem. I hope this helps someone else that may have the same problem."

Right click on My Computer, then go to Properties>Hardware>Device Manager>Ports (COM and LPT) and check which com port is your rs232 wire in
R u using a adapter or not?

ok no more e011 now when i load the bin apears the numbers like 1450 and go to 0001 and i cant see the t.v****n you please tell me whats goin on.

yes I am using a adapter that goes from rs232 to usb because my computer does not an xtra rs232 connection and I can't load the bin files to the receiver cw600 premium. By the way I have windows Vista

Try this;put RECEIVER OFF & THEN GET READY THE BIN TO DOWNLOAD HOLD THE POWER BOTTOM & GO TURN ON FROM BACK WHEN YOU SEE BOOT WAIT 5 SECONDS LED FREE THE POWER AND PUSH THE LOADER THE SAME TIME

I have purchased a new laptop which has no comp ports only usb what do I need to be able to hook up to my captive works recievers,or how do I do it.

You need a rs232 addapter(usb to rs232).

One end of the rs232 addapter plugs into the usb on laptop, the other end plugs into the cable that comes with your reciever.The rs232 addapter should come with a driver disk.
