CW-600S Premium Remote Control problem

Hi. My first post, but I've been a member here for quite a while. My problem - I've got a CW-600S Premium, that I've had for a while, but now my remote control doesn't work. Nothing, not volume, channels, power on/off, nothing. And it's not the batteries! The "lock" light on the front of the receiver is lit up. The badly-translated user's manual is no help. I've tried everything I can think of and I'm hoping you may be able to help! Thanks.

had you press STB on the remote..Also what BIN do you have for the cw600P.

I know you said the batteries work but you might want to take them out for a few minutes and then reinstall them to see if it resets your remote.

thats the biggest downfall of the premium.that **** cheap remote lol.

option one.(the one id suggest) hit up the site sponsors,and grab the new cw universial remote.button placement is a bit better and works much nicer than them old cheaply made things.(its the one that comes shipped with the newer models)

option 2.(if you tried everything and still can't get it).it has very strong clips all the way around it.pry the crack all the way around with a very skinny regular screw driver.
remove the inner section and clean it up good.toss her back together,making sure the center piece is in place good.and see if that fixes her up.iv had to do that to mine before.pretty simple.

Thank you all so much! And you were so fast! I tried just the battery thing...nothing. Just the STB thing. Nothing. Tried them both a second time...works! I'm glad I didn't have to pry the thing apart, but I'll definitely keep that in mind if it happens again. Thanks again, I really appreciate it!

at first my remote stop working then i turned off the receiver then on and its just stuck on boot mode if anyone can help thanks!
