Help to configue Platinum Lite with Dtv

Hello, Guys

I've been using these recievers for awhile now.
I do all my setups and configurations but I'm still confused setting up the same reciever for
Dtv.

This is the confusion:

I have a Platinum lite receiver, set it up, point
my dish for the 110 and 119, scan for channels
I have dish500 with dual LNB.

"I get succesful getting all my channels"
and these are from Dishnetwork.

I have another setup with the same reciever
but the Dish and LNB are for Dtv.
when I can for channels, I still get the same
channels like my first setup.?

Why I don't the channels from Dtv?
Why channels are from Dnetwork using
Dtv Dish and LNB??

Is there any particular settings and Dish pointing specific angle for Dtv?

Any body knows these settings steps?

Please, help!

to get Dtv channels?

You won't get anything right now with the VSP, especially on DTV.

no one can get DTV(Dave) using a FTA receiver...the only way is to get a subscription to DTV...videoguard is a tough nut to crack i guess!...hopefully nagravision3 will be easier to hack than good ole Dave...chachi...

That's exactly the answer I was looking for,
Now I wonder why no matter what I was doing, I never
was able to get Dtv.

I was just messing around setting up my recievers
and be able to learn and understand how to setup
Dishnetwork and Dtv.
but no matter what I did, I noticed that I never got
Dtv.

setting my plat back up just for the wait but forgot settings
119 lnb power on lnb type standard lnb freq 11250 22khz off tp freq 12224diseqc port 1 motor off legacy sw sw42 dis1
110 lnb on lnb type standard lnb freq11250 22khz off tp freq 12224 diseqc port 2 motor off legacy sw sw42 dish 2
does this look right then scan right

These settings are for a Dish 500 with 2 DishPro Dual Lnb's using a Diseqc Switch. Run cable from 119 lnb to port 1 of switch and cable from 110 lnb to port 2 of switch.

Here is what your Antenna settings should be set at for DN. Save this in case you perform a Factory Default or if your receiver resets itself.

DISH Pro Twin Lnb Settings (Big one piece unit, built in Diseqc Switch)
This also works for a Dish Pro Plus Lnb
