Help, Please
I have 2 lnb's on a directv dish. I read sats Echostar 8,10 110.0w and 7 119.0w. Suddenly i'm not getting all the chanels i'm accustomed to getting. I guess its obvious i have the vs plat lite. Can anyone tell me what the best antenna settings are for my setup? thanks in advance!!!!!!!

Re: Help, Please
set the TP freq to 12239 on 119.
dtv dishes are normally not the best for dn or bev, did it work ok before?
if your signal went down, you may have to tweek your dish a bit.

Re: Help, Please
Yes. It worked for about a year without a problem. Yet one day i stopped getting all my channels i was usuallly getting. I still get a lot but just coincidentally, none of the ones i watch most. I get decidedly more chans with 7 & 8,10 both on port 1. Here's the rest of my settings..... on, standard, 11250, on, 12224, port 1, off, none for 7. And 8,10 is on, standard, 11250, on, 12224, port 1, off, none.... Unless one of my kids screwed up my settings, i can only assume my dish may need tweaking. Am i off base here? Igot lots of buddies who use fta, but all of them say they've never had to touch their dishes....... thanks

Re: Help, Please
Unless you had a typo you have both sats on port 1. You need to have one sat on port 1 and the other on port 2.

Re: Help, Please
No it wasn't a typo. I have them both on port 1. Like i said i get more chans that way, i know it goes against what everyone has been telling me. But the more chans is what its all about.

Re: Help, Please
Let us know how things work out. Just make sure you match up the ports in the menu system to the actual ports the sats are on.
