VS- PLAT - Reciever Acting Funny.. ?? - ABA DSS

This VS-PLAT/LITE thereliable workhorse is acting funny...??

Loosing signal n quality only on International Select Channels (series 600....)..

all others are working WITHOUT ANY ISSUE AT ALL..??

In n out of the desired channels..will not lock in..? just UNSTABLE/Fluctuating..

It will stay on for a minute or so n slip back in "Searching signal" >>" No Video or Audio" >>> "Auto Roll processing"...?

BUT while in "Auto Roll Processing" the Signal n Quality is in range of 80 -plus n 90 plus on both..then it will jump in n out of channel all by itself...??
Just flickers a bit n settle down to "Auto Roll Processing" with decent Q - S range..80-95..in both..

If -change channels UP n or DOWN n return to desired channel it will SHOW prog BUT slip back to the sameUNSTABLE/ FLUCTUATING ISSUE..???

Checked all setting and all are confirming to required settings with auto roll on as well...have't changed a thing..was all gud till last night..?

When auto scan either of two SAT Eco3 (61.5W) or Eco7 (119W) the 600 series channels don't even show up..? (BTW-there r two seperate dishes)

Any help will be much appreciated...thx ahead..

Looking fwd 2 d resolution...this beats me 4 sure..all confused..

could be a bad switch, cable or the little screw on end. I had a similar problem, had to replace the ends on the cables. hope you find the problem, good luck.

Thx bud and in fact I did check all the connections n so forth..guess not much luk-as a result I still have that UNSTABLE issue with the International channels ONLY..??

They do come up n stay for a few minutes(2-3 minutes most)
then go to NO AUDIO n VIDEO or AUTO ROLL PROCESSING..?
Then again if i GO CHANNEL UP N DOWN THEY COME BACK UP but ARE not stable...

ALL OTHERS ARE WORKING LIKE A CHARM -IT'S JUST THE INTERNATIONALS..??

try a new sat info file maybe its been updated or the one you have is too old now.
hope it works, Im running out of ideas fast!!

just did that n all channels were there as per the guide n timings..all shows are in gud time lines per guide..???All desired international channels are there per guide n engage on desired channel..BUT BUT they just Won't STAY ON...??u can get em' like for a minute or so n then they go n again when you return to channel it will be there n again the same s*** starts..

Still confused n unresolved ...thx for the help tho..kind of disappointing??

do a hard reboot then unplug from electricity then replug and turn switch on see if that does job if not reinstall latest file or check your settings.
