My viewsat doesn't turn on!!!
I need help I tried to power on my box but it doesn't display nothin
all it does is sometimes it shows that is going to load but it freez
also a red light in back is shown when I turn in on
Any advice I aprecciated

try unplugging it for a minute and plugging it back in.

I tried but nothin appears only sometimes shows like it was trying to boot up but doesn't display it freeze

Meaning never accept any Files? try to do a force loading.. Just go to General help section(other FTA Receiver help section) and look my stick there about force loading.

Can anyone tell me how can you tell if a receiver is dead and you have to change the
TSOP48 FLASH.

You know, the Viewsat company has a two yrs warranty. If ever your unit is under warranty. It is better to contact the Viewsat tech. BTW, your unit is dead...

Yeah I try but it doesn't do anything only a NUmber 8 appears on the display.
