Missing channels & Sats.

Hello all;
Have a Viewsat Platinum 2000, has been working fine for a long time. The other day lost everything on 119 & Bev says searching for signal, also lost a lot of the channels on 110. Can still get some of the PPVs. Have done factory default, fixed antenna settings then auto scan. Will not pick up the chanels or Sats. Hooked up regular dish receiver to 110 & 119 works fine. Someone told me to install factory bin file, then the working bin file. My question is do I have to install any other files like .cha or .sat.

no you can just do the files no need for the others .. make sure you have the newest bin.. good luck .. before doing a factory i would write down your antenna setttings that worked ..good luck
