VS platnium lite no tv channels

I check antena setting and i get s=79 and Q=95 but when i exit to watch tv i I get No TV channels and no signals or quality does anyone no why that is? Please help thanks

I just finished downloading the fix again but keep getting the same result No TV Channel any other suggestion thanks for your help

Have you ever done a Factory Default?? Don't do one, I'm just asking??
After downloading the file did you follow these instructions??


Note: Only 1 file needed to get TV that is the lastest .pgm file for your receiver.
1 Make sure your Viewsat is plugged in and turned OFF on the rear switch.
2 Connect a NULL MODEM cable between the ViewSat and your PC.
3 Open Loader2 program
4 Click "Open Files" button
4 Browse to directory holding the latest .pgm file, click on the latest .pgm file, then click on "OPEN" button
6 Click on now highlighted PC -> STB button on your Loader2 program; then turn power “ON” from rear switch of your ViewSat
after waiting 5 seconds. You should see the File loading properly.
WARNING: DO NOT POWER VIEWSAT OFF UNTIL TOLD!
When file transfer is completed, the Front Panel will display:
"inst" for 15 seconds while the software is being installed
"DONE" for 10 seconds while the ViewSat does housekeeping chores
Next, the ViewSat automatically REBOOTs
"On" will be displayed and when the reboot is complete, "0000"
You may NOW TURN OFF the ViewSat and connect it to your TV and satellite dish cable before turning it back on.
Wait for keys to autoroll.

check your settings, make sure auto roll is turned on and leave it on a scrambled channel until the keys roll.

What do you mean by no tv channels? Can you actually see the channel trying to autoroll?

Auto roll is on and i have done a factory default twice already. I thinnk I might be puting the settings in wrong maybe. There is no listing of any channels not when i press guide or by pressinng F2 no channels period.

Auto scan?after you reenter ur antenna settin ??hav you done that?

If you did a factory default then you must also enter the new bin and as Chiswood says, do auto scan.

Yes I know how to download the files into the STB and yes i have autoscaned for channels and it takes for ever and nothing realy gets programed about 25 channels only but when i exit to see the chanels there are no channels.
