Viewsat Platinum issues
Hi,
My VIewsat Platinum was working fine until a couple ECMs ago.
When you change channels on BEV it used to autoroll instantly, but now it takes a minute of more for it to autoroll on each channel you go to.
The DN used to work automatically once you let it autoroll on channel 200. Now when I go to channel 200 and others that are lower numbers the signal strength is good but there is no signal quality at all and it takes several minutes of searching the signal until the signal quality comes in and is good, and then it takes many minutes of autorolling until the picture and sound comes in. This has to be repeated every time you change channels. I have noticed that it does not search signal for that long on the PPV movie channels but still has to autoroll each time you change channels.
Does anybody else have this problem or know what is going on?

yes this is a problem for all. is it doing it still with the new bin from yesterday?
try loading the 080507P bin, seems to be working great on b3v with instant channel changes.

use the 8/14 bin and put it on 3 times rebooting after each install(yes even after it does its own reboot) and you'll be fine.
