missing channels

i took a look at the dishnet channel lineup and i think im suppose to get animal planet and planet green more that i saw that i am not getting swapped my lnb repointed my dish but still nothing whats up with that not sweating it to much but my kid loves animals just thought it would be cool to have that channel any help would be appreciated thanks

Sounds like you need to tweak you dish a bit, what does your signal and strength look like?

try rescanning your channels with an autoscan but first like tb said make sure your signal and quality is good.

If you have good quality and signal and still not having that channel then scan the Tp individually which is 12239,that's where the channel is.

there is no 12239 there is a 12238 which is what the channel info says on animal planet you think its a bad lnb this is the second one ive tried but i have others (dptwins not dp plus) good time for my brother to have my birdog

tweak dish while my girl was looking at 12238 and i couldnt get any thing at all

Do a blind scan and see if you get that Tp on the list.

I don't know but I have that channel on that Tp.

yes just loaded it today i think i need a new sat info file where can i get one around here my friends seeing as im missing 12239 that ones kind of important from what ive read

That option must be on your antenna setting menu.

First do a factory default then setup your antenna setting again and then do a blind scan.

just got a satinfo file from the viewsat support site loaded it then did a auto scan on both sats now im getting everything thanks guys and thanks viewsat
