How to antenna setup for veiwsats:
Antenna setup:
Also make sure you use echostar 8,10 to setup your dish with, then you can move the skew to get the signal in on echostar 7.And use 12224< this is a spot beam for 8,10.and<12239 is a spot beam for echostar 7>.
These setting can work on a Dp or Dpp,or Legacy depending on what type of LNB's you have, you might need to change the lnb type to match your DiSQEc switch.Remember when setting up multible
switches you use all the setting to match up.
Antenna setup:
Satellite........................echostar 8,10
lnb power......................on
lnb type........................standard< w/Dp lnb
lnb freq........................11250
22khz...........................off
tp freq.........................12224< spot beam
seach option.................all
disqec 1.0.....................port 2
motor...........................off
legacy SW.....................none< or port 2
F1 to scan then save
Antenna setup:
Satellite.........................echostar 7
lnb power.......................on
lnb type.........................OCS_Dp< w/Dp lnb
lnb freq..........................11250
22 khz...........................off
tp freq..........................12239<spot beam
search option..................all
diseqc 1.0......................port 1
motor............................off
legacy sw......................none< or port 1
then hit F1 to scan and save
Also you might need to move your TP freq. on each setup differently, depending on what type of satellite DISH you are using and LNB's. Some setting differ. Please make sure all switchs match up,and you have enough TP's on your unit.If under 30 tp's reload a new sat info file.look under my post for Sat.files to use.
This is only a guide to use,not meant to be set in stone,so use it and modify it to suit your own needs.
Hope this helps and answers alot of your question.

Need help locating the 119 SAT.
I did almost exactly like the settings above and still couldn’t find the 119 Sat. I could never get it to show up on the Antenna Setup line of a viewsat platinum in order to scan for its channels.
1. I tried with DirecTV 18” dish with a single LNB, no switch. All I got was the
110.
2. I tried with the new DirecTV Slimline AU9 Ka/Ku, 5 LNBs with no switch and all
I got was the 110.
3. I am now on the Dish 500 18” x 20” DBS dish to pick up the 110 and 119. And
again, all I got is just the 110 sat. I connected 2 lines, one from each of the LNB
through the DishNetwork SW21’s 1 and 2 input jacks and the Output is directly
to the receiver.
I really don’t know what I do wrong, and indeed, need help as I have spent too much money already on the dishes. Please note that I pointed the dish to sky manually by hands and I believe I should be able to pick up the 119 as I did on the 110. Help and advices are very well appreciated.
Thanks

Re: How to antenna setup for veiwsats:Dish 121 Echo9
Hi,
I have just joined. What is the antena set up for Dish 121 Echostar 9? Should we change the LNB Type to OCS-DP or DSP-Pro or Standard or Universal. The TPF is apparently is 11724 by default. Appreciate your comments.
