NEWBIE to Viewsat

I have had Pansat 2700 for a while now. I just bought a Viewsat Extreme. Need help setting up.

Basically hooked up viewsat extreme to the same wire as pansat. I am using DP34 switch. The DP34 works great with pansat2700 except I have to hook up an extra 301 (d***) receiver to provide power to the DP34 switch. this way I can hook up additional three recievers to the four outs.

I checked the signal strength on pansat and it was great but on viewsat it comes and goes but when I look at the channel it actually shows the strength. Since I had old bin I was not getting any picture, thus dont know if I am doing it correctly.

Then I did the blind scan. A screen popped up with STEP and POLARITY. What is step? It has 1-15 numbers, which should I put on?

Do I do blind scan on each satellite (61.5, 110 and 119).

ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!!

if you have a good signal when you do a scan don't do a blind scan it is for true fta it works but does'nt always give you all the channels just set up your antenna setting and when you are done right there hit f1 that will scan for channels ...also if you did not update your sat file i would do that ..there are several good ones here .. if you have problems just pm me i am sorry but i have to go to work soon but i will be home at about 11 pm tonight unless you get it going .. there is lots of great help here ..just ask soe one

make sure your lnb type is set to ocs-dp
