Viewsat VS2000 Receiver Upgrade
Hi, I have an Extreme Viewsat vs2000 that I picked up a few years ago and I never got the chance to learn how to upload a new file to it. I have the serial port connected and I downloaded the file from the website to my computer, but I can't figure out how to do the Upgrade. So if someone can help me,I would really appreciate it.

Hello and welcome...you need to download the loader for the extreme before you can install the bin.

Its in the viewsat extreme download section here but to be able to download it you'll need to upgrade your membership to vip....believe me its worth the money.

u need the loader ver 1 null modem cable turn unit off open file on pc pc to stb turn unit on it will receive file and reboot should work it took me three days to get this info good luck
