missing channels - ABA DSS

can anyone tell me why i have only about half the channels? do i need to rescan? been like this since i loaded this bin DBPSW_060923AS_XTREME probably month or better. please help thanks

install the latest bin for your receiver , delete the channels & do a blindscan.

ok installed new bin and did a blind scan some channels still blank and some did not even get on the list. the channels that are blank have good signal but no quality. getting about 75% of channels. any ideas? thank you

Turn the auto roll off and then do a rescan after that it sould work fine.

check your antena setup maybe you have the same committed on the same satellite

turned autoroll off and rescaned. All channels on list now work but still missing several missing (some of my favorites). could really cloudy skies have anything to do with it?

still dont have the channels that i am looking for like cc (107). don't know what to do. hit f2 to do blind scan, have new bin and just did blind scan. the channel comes up but no picture. has signal but no quality. this is the same on several other channels as well there has to be something i'm missing here. have had all channels before with this satillite dish hook up. I'm fairly new to the viewsat always had pansat. is there something that everyone does for common mistake or what? please help1!!! thank you

If you are using any switch, remove the switch and scan. That may help.

Keithpatten,

I mean the disecq switch that you use to connect multiple LNBs to one receiver. If you are not using any switch, then check your LNB settings in the receiver. Make sure it matches with the LNB you are using.

I GOT IT!!!! finally, is what it was was the LBN type in your antenna settings was set to something else from factory settings. I switched it to universal and got all my channels. thanks to all that tried to help., this was a huge problem that i have struggled with for long time!!!!!
