Re: Crunch Time
My suggestion would be to get a "digital tuner" and a OTA antenna. Lots of "guilt free" programming out there.

Re: Crunch Time
nFusion is Good, but working via IKS... If you are comfortable in IKS, go for nFusioon.

Re: Crunch Time
nfusion is a great option as of right now ,i have nfusion and am very happy with them.the solaris is fairly cheap but your best bet would be the pheonix .there is a fair bit up on b3v and dn and they are worth the money.

Re: Crunch Time
I have sonicview myself, but let me tell you from what I see going on with all IKS nfusion phoenix will be a great solution. The most cost effective solution will be a digital antenna and grab what's out there for free digital and even high detention if you have the right TV set.

Re: Crunch Time
what to do what to do:
1) $50- OTA with a good antenna for SD and some HD TV (con: limited if you not close to civilization)
2) $200- 36" dish, linear LNB & motor for true FTA (con: limited sports & premium viewing)
3) $200- NFusion or Kbox for some sports and premium viewing (con: unreliable unpredictible viewing)
Note: would like to, but cannot recommend Sonicview at this time; maybe next week
4) $600/yr +/- sub with sports & some premium viewing (con: 2yr contract committment min $1200 outlay)

Re: Crunch Time
I don't know why you have been down for almost a year, my VS Extreme went down in June the same time as everyone else. However Kbox works great, invest 220 bucks and watch TV.

Re: Crunch Time
Thanks everyone .
I'm thinking Kbox or Nfusion , And if VS comes back with BEV then i"ll have that too.
Where would i grab a Box in Muskoka ,Ontario.
Just look around for a Satellite dealer and pick up a box . Come Home And Load the latest fix?

Re: Crunch Time
If I were looking at a new unit, the nFusion Phoenix would be my choice.
