Need help: 0000 VS X - ABA DSS

I have the tool kit to fix the problem but I can't run the program to fix it.(Conexiant-IC-Programmer_STC-ISP V31a) Any Ideas? Am I missing something...Please I need some words of wisdom from members.

The rec. is locked up and all it shows is 0000

if it show 0000 it is still alive it sounds like you are trying to erase the the rom chip and re write to it DON"T there is only one way to do that and that is not it

from what i hear t-sop is the only way to tag that chip.. firs t have you tried to reload the fqactory bin..??

if you do your reading ( not trying to be an ***) but that has only been successful with the viewsat clone with no pin configuration unless you are using a clone ..that way you can go directly to the chip and erase from the seerial port .. i have not heard of it working on a original..
