autorolling viewsat

My veiwstat ultra is down, just keeps autorolling, can't pick up anything.

i have been able to receive all channels for last couple of days but today it is all auto rolling.

what was the setting change with your LNB (to and from)? I'm at a total loss here on getting mine (VS-X) back in working order.

i had a problem with autoroll on thursday of last week. I downloaded the latest BIN yesterday and everything was fine. Now today it is autorolling again. Did this happen to anyone else?

Don't worry about changing or udating keys....B3v is down.....there will be a fix out shortly....after playing with FTA's for years now....you learn to have great patience with the "gods"...oh sorry, i mean the coders!

So there is no ppv, or good channels then we will need to wait for a new release or a new fix, bin or anything, wll like someone said... Great patience is going to be good.

what i did was ''0'' out the keys under 01 01 01 06 and reset from the back and waited for 10 min and it came up. also sat 118.7 i used 121 setting and added 2 tp to it and scanned it Here are the instruction:

1. Set your 118.7W port off. **Do not remove your current dish point at 118.7W.**

2. Goto 121 edit tp, then add tp (11728) and save.

3. Go back to your antenna setup for Echo 9(121), and setup at the current port which you had used for 118.7w. Then save this setup. When you change your TpFreq and you should see you signal at
60% or more.

4. Auto scan, then you should get about 190+ channels.

5. You can re-arrange your favorite again.

I got all my chinese channels are back again. I played and tested around without point dish again, and it's work perfect. I am still using CB2800A lnb. Enjoy all the 118.7 channels back again.

Attention all Viewsat users pointing to 118.7W

Thanks to the work of neneng, he has found a way for us to Not only receive but to view channels on 118.7

Apparently the Viewsat Coders decided to use EchoStar 9 to allow us to view 118.7 Channels.

As per suggested I tried the following at it did work.

All of you that are using the Special LNB for 118.7

Setup for Echo 9 -121W
LNB Type: Standard
LNB Freq: 10750
****
TP Freq: 11715


Now you will not see TP freq: 11715 so do this.

Go to Menu, Channel Scan
Select EchoStar 9
SCroll down to Edit TP> OK
Press F1 for Add User TP
Enter:
TP freQ: 11715...S/R: 20000...Pol: V...FEC: 7/8

Exit and Save

Now back to Auto Scan
Echo 9 should be selected, Scrool down and start Scan.
