Still Freezing - ABA DSS

My unit is still freezing after installing the new "No Freezing" bin. Did the new bin work for anyone?

It might be helpful if you were able to post the Make and Model of the Receiver you have.

This way others would be able to assist you faster and with more accuracy

Genius is right. Let us see what you have. Did you try factory reset after you loaded the "no freezing" fix. Try that the very 1st thing b4 you do anything else

Periodic Freezing from time to time happens, clouds, weather, Santa's Sleigh can all effect signal quality.

If your freezing issue is chronic, then I'd speculate that perhaps the .bin file needs work.

If your freezing issue is only periodic, I'm confident that its nothing serious.

If you look to the right under What's New you will see "Viewsat extreme freezinfg fix". Nowhere does it state 12 24 07 OP key bin. Sorry I wasted everyones time.

It is chronic freezing and it happens just about every 30 minutes and sometimes within 10 minutes after the last. Do you know if the latest fix from Viewsat Extreme is temp. or is this issue isolated to just my receiver?

Everyone is still having freezing problems, the coders are working on it.
Its a problem with the bin file corresponding to the keys properly.
New keys are helping a bit, but not all the time.

I would think that your current experiences are related more to the .bin file and not so much to your receivers electronics or hardware.

I'm sure that once a new .bin file is available, then the micro freezing or perhaps macro freezing issues in your case will be resolved.

Don't panic, its not isolated to your receiver.
