n e way to watch BEV channels? - ABA DSS

is there n e way i can watch BEV channels. i mean i know that the fix said ONLY DN. but is possible to watch by entering key manually or something.. anotherword i am not pointed to DN channels. i am pointed NIMIQ 1,3 91.0.. so i am currently getting nothing. i also don't want to try out something on my receiver w/out ne advice.. please give me ur opnion..

No, the file indicated that is was Charlie specific ... so there is no support for Bev.

As far as I know there is no fix for Bev for the Extreme. You need to be patient, it will come. Keep on checking and do some reading.

They are working hard. Already a fix for both for the extreme and the 9000h. Others will follow soon I would guess.

Is it no clear enough in english that there is no fix for Bev. Do ya think your incredible suggestion of entering keys is this answer? I am so tired of seeing people post the most ridiculous questions.
Here is your answer....sub to bev and you can get it. Anything else regarding what works is always posted and does not need to be asked.

How about downloading the new file, then download the most recent OPKEY file. Hey I have DN, but I got an extra Extreme it might work will let you know. By the way I don't think any question is stupid, it supposed to be a hobby why does everybody poo,poo every question or suggestion.

Hobby yes, but there are dumb questions when the answer is in the post you are reading...."file does not work for BEV it may lock up receiver". Don't ya think they would have put in "for BEV download OPKEY file and it will work" if that was the case. Give some credit to the guys who supply us this stuff by reading and believing what they post. Also why not try your theory first, that would help people.

There's a fix for Bev for all VS models on other websites, look around

Well I did try it, it did lock up no big deal. I guess I like to live on the wild side I could sit in my chair and wonder did we or they miss anything. Oh well back to the drawing board. I tried it on a new Extreme so I got to get it unlocked probably take me five minutes to be ready for the Bev file.

Ok everyone here's some INFO on the V.S.X. new bin I'm testing it now on charlie. It will not work on B3v and if you do try it you may damage your receiver. Don't take the chance. On charlie it takes anywere from 15 to 20 seconds to respond when you change channels but there is no freezing since I have been testing it for 2hrs now. I have a suggestion I have a motorized 33'' dish and this way you will have more options and more sats. to test. Hope this info helps Cyberhd

I think this is so unfair. why does every VS has bev except for extreme. I find it hard to believe. Is this the way viewsat can get ppl to buy new receivers. alrite.. cw.. looks like you guys are going to sell a lot f HD reciever in the near future. I am going to get all my co-workers and brothers to fck the viewsat extreme and get onto the cw ban wagon, because vs is not reliable and i can't trust them on HD products.

You have to be patient. All VS models will be up, I'm guessing by tonight. Mind you it may be temporary again. But...that's the nature of the game.

mind you me and at least 50 ppl at work are patience enough already. First, other reciever are watching TV 4 days ago. Second, viewsat only released 2 model fix yesterday. Third, viewsat extreme is DN only. Wat da hell is going on. I feel very very embrassed, because i told all my co-wokers to buy extreme 3 months ago. that's 30 something ppl, they also told their friends to buy extreme. People at work are asking me for days now when TV coming back, I kept saying later today, later today for 4 days now. People in CW are watching for 4 days, that's the longest ON time for the month of december. Unless someone gets their act together, CW is going to run out of stock.

Agreed. Im wishing I knew about the Nfusion a few months back before I got the xtream. Im patient as the next guy, and know the stakes in the game, but yeah... I dont enjoy my rec. not working when the next guys rec is up
