Help to get High Def

Hi, I just wanna know if I already have echo 7 and echo 8 with my viewsat extreme what I have to do to get high definition signal? I know I need a HD receiver but do I need also another dish? I already have a dish 500. Thanks.

You need an 8psk module and an HD box for DN HD

If you want hd on dn you need to but the add on that lonster talked about. It is sold separately from the stb due to legal issues.

NOP NOP, with Viewsat extreme you will never see channels in HD, that is possible ONLY with HD box like Viewsat 9000 HD

You will need either a vs9000hd or a sv8000hd. each one of these boxes are able to have an 8psk board installed into it. (very easy, tutorials available here @ ABA)

If you go to one of the sponsors and look @ either of these boxes you may also be able to find the 8psk for each box.

If you want B3V HD @ 82w you can use the HD box by itself.

If you want any DN HD you will need to get the 8psk module and HD box

If you want dn hd you will need the add on as said above. If you are looking at b3v it will work on 82 without the add on.

With the appropriate cables of coarse.
