What happens when you try to load it?
Are you using the serial cable that came with the Box?
Are you hitting PC-STB on the loader and then turning on the receiver via backswitch?

Is this a new Viewsat? and can you do a factory default when it's connected to the TV?
If this fails then you must have the wrong cable.

Yes the Viewsat takes a twited (null) serial cable and the Coolsat Pansat take a strait cable. They both look totally alike so you cant tell by looking at them. Here is a link just click on it.

2500 uses a straight through cable, the viewsat uses a null. You need a different cable.

first
Try this, When loading files you must open the loader program (loader1 or loader2, whichever you prefer) FIRST. Select the file to open using the open file button. Be sure that the file is already un-zipped and that the zmodem.dll file is in the same directory as the loader program. Click on PC>STB and turn on the power switch (or plugin the STB if no power switch is present) within 5 seconds. YOU should see the file being loader on PC and STB
