Help with switching from bev to dn
HEY ALL,
Could someone please tell me how to make the switch from bev to dn....or tell me a link to somewhere on this site...THANKS

Yes, here is an example if you want 119....If you want 110 then the tp should be 12224.
EchoStar 7 - 119. ECHO 7
LNB Power------ON
LNB Type-------Standard For dish pro set to OCS

22kHz-------------Off unless you have a 22kHz switch turn on.

It seems like i can't get the sat to change in the menu.....i will change it but as soon as i exit the menu it willl go back to nimiq...any ideas?

Jumping into another ones thread (question) is often frowned upon and is called HiJacking ... most people don't take to kindly to that, but I'm just passing this info along to you.
If you have a question about your Coolsat, you are better to ask it in the Coolsat section, right now we are in the Viewsat section, and most people in this area may have no idea how to answer you.

see in order for me to re position my sat i need to change my box to that sat in order to see the quality to align it properly, but every time i change my sat to echo 9 and leave the menu screen it stays on nimiq....any help would be great and thanks to the people who have already posted

You will need to physically rotate and change the position of where your dish is ponting now to a new spot in the sky to be able to scan 110 and 119.
Go to www.dishpointer.com to get the settings required for your specific area.
And then, yes, you'll also have to modify the settings used in your unit (STB/ receiver).
