Too far North for 110?
I usually read for all my answers but haven't been able to find this one.
I live in Northern Alberta and trying to get 110. I have good signal strength but quality meter is flickering 0-75. Is there something I'm missing? Of course I only have the old school Bev dinner plate dish with it's factory LNB.
Dish too small, too far north, maybe both?
This is my set-up
Echo 8, 110.
LNB Power------ON
LNB Type-------Standard
LNB Freq-----------11250
22kHz-------------Off
TP Freq----------12224
Diseqc 1.0------none
Motor--------------Off
Legacy SW------None
Can anyone provide insight?

Re: Too far North for 110?
For your location, the estimated dish size for 110W is 100cm that's about 33''.
You can find it here:

Re: Too far North for 110?
i would suggest a bigger dish
i don't know what size the bell dishes are
if they are 18" you could try a dish500 which is 20" and have read that people in northern Ontario get with it or a winegard 30"
