Only Picking up Radio

I have a viewsat extreme and when I was scanning the scan only picked up Radio stations but not any tv channels the signal strength and quality was around 70% please help

What bin do you have loaded??? What sats are you aiming at???

Make sure you have the setting picked to all channels when you scan, not just fta.

I am aiming at Echostar 3 61.5W I have the latest bin the dish is 18"

Thank You all for your help but nothing worked and now I have a new problem. The signal strength is 70% but the quality blinks from 0% to 71% and doesn't become steady please help

check your dis q port, and correct lnb in antena set up and make sure you have same sat in upper right corner in blue bar. still problem then post your seting.

transponder= tp freq=12224 like chaci said .dont get confused if you dont see transponder in set up.

Did you press the radio /tv botton on the remote?Just below 7 ,I guess?
