Still has a problem
Hi my viewsat extreme still has a problem with it. In which case again after watching a channel for awhile or flipping through channels, roughly around a hour or so. It goes to no audio or video. At times it does go to auto roll, only at the very beginning though. I have to do a hard boot or rescan in order for it to display channels again. I took some advice from two moderators and tried installing the bin again after resetting the receiver to default and I also tried adding another LNB, but with no success. Is there a program or something, which I can download to clear this problem?
Thanks

Re: Still has a problem
Hey there
I'd start at the very beginning ...
1) Make sure you disconnect the coax cable feeding the receiver, but, before doing this, be sure turn off your LNB power.
2) Load the cleaner file 3 times, in a row via serial cable.
3) Then 'Factory Default' the unit via the remote and the on-screen menu.
4) Reload a fresh copy of the latest file via serial cable
5) Reconnect the Coax feeding the receiver.
6) Turn on the LNB power again.
7) Set up your ANT info, then do an AutoScan.
8) Save
9) Reboot (hard reboot) via the rear power switch.
10) Turn TV on
11) Leave on one channel for at least 20 mins or so ... do not change channels during this period.

Re: Still has a problem
before you do all that, try the easy stuff.
do a hard reboot with the switch on back and leave on ch.0200 for a while.
if that doesnt help do as they say above.
