Viewsat extremes file don't work - ABA DSS

My loader won't load it says " error download" sometimes it even says "download complete" without even working. Somebody please help I've been trying for 2 weeks it won't work. Can anyone help? Please? Ty

Make sure you select the correct com port, have you tried them all ? I have not owned a viewsat but if there like the rest you have to have the receiver in boot mode.

also make sure you are using the cable that came with the stb

Make sure you unzip the file before loading.

If you are using loader 2 and have not used it before, make a folder
on your desktop, unzip the loader file, bring the loader to the new
folder. Also, in the zip file is a library file Zmodem32,, bring it to the new
folder also. Now run loader 2 from the new folder.

Make sure that the null modem cable is working and the connections
are tight. It doesn't take much for those cheap supplied cables to
break a connection.

You should also consider a fresh copy of the bin.

try to hit the power button on your remote. see if this work if not then post back what you read on receiver night rider.

When you load file from loader2, after click pc-stb you must turn back switch on within 3-5 sec. and you will see file start to load in loading bar and at night rider. use the correct null cable rs232 select correct comport.Unzip latest binfile and load it you will be fine............. good luck

When your loader says download complete, be sure to wait til you see End on the receiver screen. Otherwise the file will not be on the receiver.
