NEOSAT iPro 1000 Entering Manual Keys
I'm new to this world (about 1 week now.) I've searched high and low on this site and others, but I've yet to find a definitive procedure for successfully entering manual keys into the iPro 1000.
My issues are as follows:
1. The latest keys posted always seems to be there anyway if I have the latest BIN file.
2. When someone in a forum says "it should work if you manually enter keys," what does this mean? Especially if the keys are already there.
3. What does "PP" or "PID" mean? I suspect that BEV, for example, is 0901, 0905 and 0907. Do I need to enter all keys? Or just the ones that have changed?
4. What does "active" key mean? Is this the only one I have to worry about entering?
5. If I am manually entering keys, does autoroll then need to be OFF? I've seen conflicting posts on this.
6. What is the proper procedure for manually entering keys and telling the iPro 1000 that I would like to use them?
Any help would be great.

Re: NEOSAT iPro 1000 Entering Manual Keys
OK I will try to help you but I have never used a 1000.
1}There are always keys there, right or wrong
2}To enter them manually means using your remote control to put the correct keys in
3) I don't know what PID means. the firmware for BEV is 09 01,etc.
4) The active keys are the ones that make the programming work
5) Turn A/R off to enter keys, back on when picture comes in
6) Highlight 1st 8 numbers and enter new numbers with remote using legend for letters/numbers
Exit out, repeat for 2nd set of 8 numbers, exit out, you are done
exit out, highlight 2nd set of 8 numbers and

Re: NEOSAT iPro 1000 Entering Manual Keys
Well, I've entered all the keys to the most updated keys for BEV. I'm still getting no channels unfortunately. Any idea what I might be doing wrong?

Re: NEOSAT iPro 1000 Entering Manual Keys
One of my concerns is that if I have the latest BIN file for the iPro 1000, the latest keys that are posted in the forums already seem to be inputted ... is it common for the BIN update to have the new keys before they are posted to the forums?
