I give up! I am boycotting Neosat.
I guess I have no choice but to give up hope with the ipro 1000! What a disingenuous manufacturer and a rip off I must say. I would not purchase anything from Neosat now and in the future, no matter if there ipro 2000 is best rated and the lowest in price. I am now considering purchasing another receiver anyway and it will definitely not be a Neosat. One thing for certain in business, never abandon and betray your existing customers. At least, I got to give credit to Pansat with there popular 2500a. They had still gave support to there customers with all the clones that were circulating in the market. Obviously, Neosat is a different breed of animal and don't care about there customers. How dangerous is that! You will never gain my trust and lost a loyal customer...............Good luck Neosat.
Just my thoughts

Re: I give up! I am boycotting Neosat.
you are whining at neosat for something that was out of their control, if you ask me neosat is the one that got ripped. These nfusion units everybody is buying was neosat's technology, neosat had to start all over for IKS enabled unit. And someone correct me if i'm wrong i don't think the V2 group even makes the bins for the neo1000, and are not allowed to do so

Re: I give up! I am boycotting Neosat.
Sorry guys! if I sound a lil' bit irate. I just hate getting ripped off. I have a genuine receiver that says Neosat printed on it and so I hold that manufacturer liable. What I don't understand why Neusat or Neosat will punish its customers simply for purchasing the wrong box.
Heck, I think we should all get a rebate or discount or even a trade in of some kind for a current box with support for all I'm concerned.
Hey bbondenator! This isn't whining Bro. We're not talking about a company that went out of business. It's about a company practicing unethical standards and decided to discontinue box without having a responsibility to its customers. Also, I'm not whining bro "I am really pissed off" or for lack of a better word a "customer complaint" and I hope Neosat or Neusat is reading these threads.

I dont think anyone really cares if you boycott the neosat! There has been many discussions on this receiver, and so far it has not done any good what soever I completely agree with you, we were made many promises on this unit when the new Pro 2000 came out. I wish I had saved some on them so I could post them. No matter what anyone says We were promised by the pro2000 site that they would work on getting the IKS solution to work for the pro 1000, which never did happen. So far they are still working on the Pro 2000s IKS, which by the way is getting better. The admin of that site did make it possible for someone else to code the pro 1000 as a bluejay, but at this time there has not been a fix for this unit for weeks. The nfusion still at this time does not have a stand alone file, the IKS solution does work good, but this is the same company that is responsible for the 1000 updates.
Im going to hang on the my pro 1000, you never know someone may come up with a solution to convert this box to another receiver.

The 2000 iks is getting better, but 9000 locals have not ever worked, and still occasional freezing. I think the Neosat guys would work on the 1000 if they could get the 2000 stable, but as of yet cardless fixes work for 1 day if at all, and IKS is not 100%
If you guys like testing, pick up a DVB card and learn to use a PC. The linux and windows open source emus are up fast and work great.

Re: I give up! I am boycotting Neosat.
I agree with Robert. When I bought my neosat ipro1000, it was the greatest thing since sliced bread, now it hasn't worked for six months. I wouldn't buy a nfusion or a neusat receiver just because they are the same people who screwed us before. And if they're not, why isn't there a bin for the 1000 ? I'm disgusted, who can you trust these days ?

I believe the neosat 1000 support has only stopped for a month or so. Been working up till then. You can check downloads section for more info.

Fix for ECM from 2 weeks ago. I don't know how you got the 6 months no tv from. Lack of searching perhaps?

Re: I give up! I am boycotting Neosat.
I have vers. 119 in my neosat. I downloaded neusat lite v113 and my receiver wouldn't accept it.
