While no guide can cover every possible combination of lnb's
and switches, I have included the most popular set up's.
What you'll require to complete your initial set up.
1; Neosat Ipro 1000 receiver
2; A serial cable, probably came with your receiver.
3; A high speed internet connection, dial up has been shown to work but
high speed is recommended.
4; A router
5; Sufficient Cat 5 cable to reach from your router to where your
Ipro will be located, or a wireless game link similar to Logictech's
Next go to
NeosatUSA and click on SUPPORT then DOWNLOAD
and download;
A; Ipro1000/Neosatlite Uploader
B; Ipro1000 Factory Firmware ( not required for initial set up but might
be needed some time later )
Next return to this site, go to Official Downloads and download;
A; Neosat Ipro1000 IKS 1.0 or the latest bin file
B; Channel Master Support Bootloader 1.26, you'll only need this if
you intend to use Channel Master
Unzip all the files to the same folder and then create a shortcut for convenience.
Connect the serial cable to the Ipro and your computer, Open the uploader program
and choose IKS 1.0 as the file you want to load. If you click on the " Com 1 button "
you can change to your correct Com Port. Click on " Start Down" and a screen will appear
instructing you to reboot after clicking OK, Click OK then turn off your Ipro
using the back power switch, wait a few seconds and turn back on. Wait for
file to download. You have just downloaded the only file absolutely necessary
to make your Ipro work.
Optional; Open Neosat Uploader and choose Bootloader 1.26 as the file to
open. Choose the correct Com Port as before, Click on the " Main " button
and it will change to " Boot " Click on " Start Down " and continue as previously
explained. This step is only required if you intend to use Channel Master.
Next connect your Ipro to your TV and Satellite feed, Internet connection is
not required yet.
The next steps depend on the type of LNB's you have, I have included what
I believe are the three most popular setups, if you have something different
please post and we'll do our best to assist you. All three combinations have
been proven to work by me, there are of course variations so do what works
for you.
