My suggestion would be ........can we please have the tick marks back.
It seems to me that a while back, if you posted on a thread, then it give you a tick mark or some might call it a "check" mark to show you have posted.

We don't have them any more.

Are they coming back? I loved them. It made it so easy to see if you have already posted in that particular thread. If a question, then you can go back to see how they are making out ... if a new member, then at least you know that you have in fact welcomed them.

That is pretty weird ........ I do not have them. Haven't had them for weeks. Wonder why? Wonder how I can fix it? I really miss them.

My tick marks are still visible. No idea why you can't see yours. Maybe click refresh
on your browser to see if that helps.

No luck yet Bobo ........ I am going from memory cause it has been such a long time since I have seen them ...... but, don't they show up in the "rating" column ? I have the open envelope with the star, but you get that with a new thread too, so hard to tell them apart. I did try the refresh button, but, no difference.

they r all there n never had any interruption..guess something is amiss @ ur end -may b user settings..try rebooting PC if u hav not done in a while..unplug n reboot..? just a thought as sometimes un updates n stuff do interact with such issues..gud luk..

OK additionally here is the "EDIT" section::

Go to user CP
Settings & options
EDIT Options
Messageing & Notification
Default thread subscription Mode
from the available Menu on DROP DOWN menu options select the appropriate one
CHK-Instant E-mail notification
Save changes at the bottom of the page

Now you will get an e-mail as well to all the thrteads you subscribed on a progressive basis and in an instant as well

hope that will set things right for you..

I dont have them but if I leave the cursor over the envelope icon on the selected thread it says if you have posted in that particular thread or not.

Thanks Lonster .... that one does work for me. Wonder where our tick marks went. At least this will save some time. It is my welcome threads that I get mixed up on. I keep opening them to find out that I already said Howdy... Dowdy. Especially, if they move forward from a previous day. Oh, the joys of getting older ....... LOL

Glad it's working for you"LV"..just trying help along the way..BTW if you r getting the instant e-mail notification then gud or you cud put that edit option n mail will start coming as the thread moves along in progression..that way you get all the feedback on the ones that you subscribe to..?
