I think due to the fact we are getting so many new members, and they are not reading some of the good info all of you are given, somewhere on our board we should include the following

Type of switch(es) used---------
Network/Satellite------------
Type and Size of dish(es)-----------------

What is/are the problem(s)----------
What you have tried already-----

Also include your settings for all satellites you are trying to get.

that is a good idea atabo.

there is an "announcement" for this posted at the top of the page in every section.(since 2006)

unfortunately,like you say however,some people just do not read.

not only that,but the thing is,when your so new,you honestly just don't know what information it is your supposed to enter in the template.

iv noticed its been a huge help entering the link in my sig to this one:

i labeled it "lost etc,etc"
iv included some tips/links there to pics of lnbs.this has been helping greatly.
feel free to add that to your sigs too if you want.

good post atabo40 i like the settings idea a lot of peeps when using cleaner files and or factory default dont copy down there settings and have trouble with channels maybe there could be a sticky for this i couldnt find it anywhere
