We have another type of compression used for the
converted boxes, this one is called
LZMA, but not exactly do-able as a front display, and is still technically part
(PUFF) so the name will remain the same to avoid most confusion. One difference being, after the new compression has taken... the display will now have a period with the last (F.) to show that you have the new compression installed. As for the binfiles themselves...they will have to be
CLEARLY marked
256_lzma(PUFF.).bin or something of the sort. As always, if your not sure,
DON'T do it!
***READ THE FOLLOWING BEFORE YOU START***
IT IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED THAT YOU KNOW HOW TO JTAG BEFORE FOLLOWING THROUGH WITH THIS.
FOR BOXES WITH B-75 or PUFF ALREADY INSTALLED.
NOTE: BOOT60 IS NOT REQUIRED
FROM THE BRAIN OF MR.JVVH
Using GTRom loader 27.02 (or equivalent), load up Boot-PUFF-lzma.bin(64k)
with reciever displaying ON, hit the download button and should go in less the 5 seconds
.--reboot--
Verify
PUFF. PUFF. is shown on display.
(notice the P U F F. P U F F.)Once that has taken-load up the 256_lzma(PUFF.).bin(448k)
(may have to set default keys..channel #8282)
verify your 'settings' are correct,
enjoy...
(note..it takes a bit longer to turn
ON due to the compression being different, but makes up for it in the amount of room that is made for future bins.)
