The simplest Question from a newbie

Hello Everyone

This may be the quickest answer anyone has given taken the fact that I am a newbie, but what i would like to know, is why my Ariza extreme not accepting the newly provided dish network keys for nagra 1? When i enter the nagravision menu the numbers appear like so:

0101 00 ************
0101 10 ************
0101 01 ************
0101 11 ************

I simply edit the numbers save my work and exit, but unfortunately i get the "standby to download" message instead of video. I have double checked the number entry many times and still no go. By the way this problem only occurred when the keys morphed last week some time, before that i was having no poroblems entering the keys manually.Any answer or thoughts would be greatly appreciated thanks to all in advanced.

What do you mean by nagra 1 is no more and i should use nagra 2, how long ago did this happen and how do i go about fixing it please help me out thanks a million in advance.

It should be in the same area that you found nagra 1 should be right under that when listed. Then just eeter the keys into nag2

Mine dont even list nagra 1 or nagra 2. It is listed NagraVision. I think when these first came out it was listed and nagra 1 or 2. Is your software current?

My software is the software from may which means the last one, i got the bin file factory in may, now the receiver does not accept any keys i put in form some reason, I wish some one could help me out with this issue or just take it out with me i have been out of tv for the last 2 weeks almost.

Nagravision should be as follows for DN
1 000001 00 ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** (First half of Key 00)
2 000001 10 ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** (Second half of Key 00)
3 000101 00 ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** (First half of Key 00)
4 000101 10 ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** (Second half of Key 00)
5 000001 01 ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** (First half of Key 01)
6 000001 11 ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** (Second half of Key 01)
7 000101 01 ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** (First half of Key 01)
8 000101 11 ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** (Second half of Key 01)

I hope this is the info are needing. In your fourth line it looks like you switched keys.

try just rebooting from the file
like reprograming / hook it back up to the computer and reload the program from Sept. or any other previous program
