Hey guys,
The Ariza Extreme is no longer supported (i.e. no one writes code for it anymore so no new fixes).

Mingo use to write code for it but I believe he only writes it for the other Ariza boxes but not the extreme.

I have heard the vendor was trying to sell these boxes under a different name - Homestad (sp?) - you proabably could convert the box but the price to convert it over doesn't make sense as the price is high and the FTA prices have come down drastically.

It looks like you will need new boxes - happy hunting.

One word of advice, stick to name brand like Viewsat. It will always be supported and bins come out early. Also, be careful of clones - I heard coolsat was having big issues along with viewsat - go on their website and they talk about what some of the things you can look for in a clone.

I purchased the VS pro (latest box out) and I am having somewhat of an issue with my pic quality but slowly working through it - the latest fix seems to really improved this. Aside from this, the box is excellent.

Do your own research before purchasing the next box.

If you come across any other info on the Extreme, I wouldn't mind hearing about it.
