Why Is Everyone Saying This When They Are Still Recieving The Locals And Some Of The Other Channels We Just Need Help With The 06 Provider How To Install It. But Maybe Its To Much Of A Challenge

Hi. Is there a way to download the channel data from Merc II to PC? I have tuned in the four satellites that I am interested in and now would like to save the data. I read that when you update firmware you save your database first (internally in the Merc II) then factory reset and download new firmware, then restore the channel data. I don't see any instructions anywhere I have looked to download from Merc II to PC, even though a couple sites mention it, all they show you how to do is receiver to receiver or download on PC to receiver. Thanks.

my fortec mercury 2 has lost signal for more than 2 mon. I tried everything possible to get the signal back, by positioning the dish and changing LNB, diconnecting the cable completely.. nothing changed, the signal level and quality did not go more than 1-3%.. any help is appreciated.
