Re: Dish types and uses..

Heres what you'll need ,this is by creative genius, give him the credit.........

Re: your dream sat package Here is the ideal setup for you (and best of all, no dish motor required) but you may have to forego Galaxy.

The best set up if you want to be able to pull down the most variety with the least amount of effort (and without need of a dish motor) is the following, get yourself:

1 - 18" x 24" Eliptical Dish
4 - Dual LNB's
1 - 5 port LNB Mount/Yoke
1 - Disc Switch (4 in /1 Out)

Some Sat Cable and some connectors.

Arrange and mount the LNB's on the pre-engineered 5 point Yoke, so that the 101W LNB area is not populated (i.e., is empty) then mount the 4 LNB's, in their respective places. You'll be able to scan 91W, 82W, 110W and 119W without having to move the dish at all (no motor).

Once you lock onto 91W the others are automatically 99% there.

Hope that helps.
