How to program SonicView1000
Can anyone let me know how to program the SV1000. I downloaded the loader v0201 and the latest bin but don't know if there any tricks like the Viewsat where you have to unplug before loading it. Any help truly appreciated.

Do the following steps:
1. Plug turn on the STB (the STB need to be on so your PC can detect the USB)
2. plug one end into Device (on stb) the other to your PC
3. install the driver (Windows will auto detect and ask you to install the neccessay driver for the device)
4. Turn off your STB (using back switch, you need to turn off the unit before running USB LOADER or TFTPServ)
5. on your pc, open USB Loader or TFTPServ, open the necessary file you wanted (YOU NEED TO TURN OFF YOUR STB FROM THE BACK BEFORE OPEN USB LOADER)
6. Then turn on your stb (using back switch)
the download should take no more than 15 sec, but leave the STB alone untill it completely reboot itself.
Troubleshoot
Numerous users have report that they have problem when install the driver on their Laptop.
Symtom: in the middle of the driver installation, the laptop screen black out and doesn't response, give the blue screen of death or automatically restart and the driver installation never complete.
this is cause by the USB controller on the laptop, mostly Toshiba Model. Dell also
Solution: Instead of connect the PVR directly to the laptop, put an USB hub in between, so the configuration will be
Laptop USB PORT >>>> USB HUB >>> USB on Sonicview PVR.
Hope this help guys
