I have tried downloading the bin file for this unit and I get the file but I cant seem to get windows to auto detect the receiver or for the file to open up and download. Can someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong?

this is a guide on how to load the sv1000 make sure you are using a null cable if yours is a rs232 it will not work and thats why you are being unsuccessful ..

I have the instructions and have no problem with them. I cant seem to locate the downloader file nor does windows auto detect the receiver and I have it properly attached. I am running windows xp. what now?

go to my computer right click go to properties left click then hardware then device manager then go to ports and check for com 1 make sure it is enabled let me know

windows will never detect the reciever just make sure com1 is working properly and i will post the loader for you...

thanks for help so far. I got the down loader file and everything went fine. The instructions from there are at best missing or totally confusing. in the manual it is basic command instructions with no place to start or explanations. Is there any guide I can go to that i can get the information i need without having to hassle folks like yourself with the same idiot questions? I would just like to find something with an a to whatever guide to get me up and running.
