Problem with BIN file on Vista - ABA DSS

Hi everyone,

My old computer with XP is down and I'm using the girlfriend's for the first time to fix my Sonic View. Downloaded the new ZIP but vista does not seem to recognize the extracted file so as a result I cannot use the downloader properly. Any solutions?? Does the downloader and BIN files work with Vista? Sorry if this question has already been asked before but I couldn't find any threads concerning this. Thanks for any help.

I am having a problem using XP. Yes, the bin extention was missing but that is not the problem I am having. The download to the receiver is sloooow. It took about 30 minutes to get the file into the receiver and then the receiver just dropped back to a station without rebooting.

I restarted the download over, it is at step 25 as I type. I do remember some other bins that had a slow loading problem but eventually they did load. Lets see if I can get this one completed. Cannot ***** though, SV has worked well since I first purchased it.

sv1000
new bin 131 not working. I have added "bin" to file and still loader won't take it.
it said no file found???. I have been using Vista for over a year on my SV10000
and had no problems.

I am using the latest bin posted by grasshopper v0313p , it is loading using XP but it is sloooow been transferring for about 20 minutes & at dn14 now so will see what happens,, the viewsat extreme loaded fast

It is the one listed as B but again its slow, now up to dn29 only 70 to go lol

OK i let it run for 45 minutes, it got to dn65 thne stopped said it was finished but didn't reboot & IS NOT working???
