I'm getting some channels but not all what do I need to do?

We need more info on what type of setup you have, the crystal ball has a crack in it and is not working right.

I have a dish 500 with a 110 and 119 lnb and a perfect vision multiswitch
also now I lost control to my remote no lights and I lost all signal as well.

So the remote is dead?
Have you tried hitting STB button?
If all else fails open it up and move things around and see if you can figure out what is wrong, you have nothing to loose.

Yes I pushed the STB I was doing a scan sat whenever this happend
it just quit working

You probably need to tinker with it or call the manufacturer for a replacement.

I Had a 2 go bad but once I took them apart and moved crap around they started working again. But they where Coolsat remotes, they are both Japanese.

I have a viewsonic sv1000 and I can not get all the channels, I am using a dish 500 with dual lnbs. I am new at this and need to know how I can get all the channels on my receiver. Can someone help me?

Just apply factory settings, delete all channels,and then do a fresh blind scan.The thing is that many channels were moved.Your channel info will be saved in your box, even if you apply fact one, so do not worry about,just do the scan and then, update your date and time,turn off at the back side, then turn on again, and you will watch all channels again.(do this if the box lost the signal)

The Sonicview remote is good, but you never know, sometimes happens even with the Japanese Sony.Try to change the batteries,and press the on/off botton many times and see if it works.

do you know what the orange circle is on the left of the file for the downloads. ? i am trying to download the file and when i click on it, it does not show up anywhere on my puter?
