Lets talk PVRs
Alright, so I'm a Coolsat 5000 guy that has been forced to chuck my receiver because of some crappy B I N writer's refusal to write B I N s for my unit anymore :-(
All this has conviced me to drop Coolsat and upgrade to something (not Coolsat) with good support, good receiver EPG and a good PVR.
I know there will be quite a few Coolsaters that will be looking to upgrade so I figured this would be a good start for a good chunk of Coolsaters.
If you have a PVR let this thread be your sounding board, I want to hear about it.
Thanks yawl

Re: Lets talk PVRs
I have a viewsat 7000pvr w/hd just love it when i first set it up I had a few kinks due to my errors in set up. I have no problems with play back, skips slightly if you blink you dont see it. Only wish is that you could switch from tuner a to tuner b easly, its sorta a pain you have to go into edit channel to switch tuners.

How much can you save at one time with the PVR?
Did you have to get an external hard drive?

Re: Lets talk PVRs
I wrote a review on the CW800PVR and the Visionsat. Currently those are the 2 that most go with. Check the review section.....
I think they both support 500GB hard drives.....
