Re: Sony PSP world
I don't own one coors, but a buddy on mine downloads them as torrents for his psp.
Download and install uTorrent:
Torrent - The Lightweight and Efficient BitTorrent Client
And use this site to search for your files, there are many torrent sites out there but this one is just one of them:
Video > Handheld - TPB

Re: Sony PSP world
Yup, very easy to convert movies THe best program is xvid4psp. Download here:
It has multiple profiles from which you can use. Very easy indeed. If you need help upgrading your PSP to a Custom Firmware PSP (lets u run homebrews and games from memory stick), I'm sure EHG can help. If not, I can. Good luck.

Re: Sony PSP world
How to install a movie in your PSP made easy.
1. turn on your Sony PSP
2. go to the section in your PSP where it says USB. click the x so it goes into USB mode.
3. plug in your USB to your computer
4. plug the other end of the USB on your PSP.
you will notice a window pop up with 2 folders.
one is ROOT , the other is PSP
create a new folder and name in VIDEO. make sure its all in capital letters.
you can do this by right clicking with your mouse you will see
NEW , then click on Folder.
now rename it to VIDEO by right clicking on your mouse again to Rename.
5. download your video from this site, make sure its MP4 file.
6. now drag that Video file into your Video Folder you created.
7. you will notice the USB screen on the PSP will start moving.
8. wait till its complete. turn off your PSP. unplug the usb and turn it back on.
enjoy your new video.
I found a very helpful site where i got help in the chat mode. they helped me so i created a tutorial so no one will have to go through what i did to help them watch movies faster. few hours of frustration no one will have to go through.

Re: Sony PSP world
i would recommend going with the cfw...you'll never have to pay for games again. there used to be a good site for movies to download (dukepspiso) but it was closed down.

Re: Sony PSP world
the games & movies are all free , found tons of em. and downloaded the latest firmware 3.95 last nite to upgrade the PSP.
when you want a movie or a game . you click on download, then megaload site comes up . type in the 3 LETTERS and click download . in 45 seconds the download will be ready to download. thats it.

Re: Sony PSP world
I actually think the PSP's wifi isn't that great. I don't have the new PSP Slim so not sure if they've improved it or not, but the fat PSP had 802.11b. Quite slow. Enough to surf the web and download mp3s though
And yes edwin, you can set it up to get wifi internet just like a regular laptop. If you live in the US, I believe you can also get free wifi from TMobile hotspots.
If you have any other question, feel free to ask. I'm sure I'm not the only PSP expert around here
I have 3 games on my PSP right now. fl0w (wickedly simple yet addictive game), Beats (rhythm game with dynamic mp3-based gameplay, aaawesome!) and of course PES2008 (heh). If you're going to buy a memory stick now, at least get 4gb. They're very cheap. Anything smaller isn't worth getting unless you don't plan to have any other stuff on the memory stick (mp3, video) besides a game or two.

what you want to do is donot upgrade thru sony instead put cfw390 m33 its the same firmware that sony has the only differantance is that 390m33 lets you play iso of any games you dl off of any site also you can play emulators of snes nes neogeo and many others and you never have to buy any games just dl go puzzel and flow.
