Viewsat MaxHD no video or audio
I have read and read and then some more. I have tried a hundred things but none are working.
I have a viewsat max hd. I have good s and q. Channels are scanning in and I have autoroll on. I set it on autoroll last night and it was still running this morning. I am completely green and starting to lose faith. Can someone help?

Re: Viewsat MaxHD no video or audio
I have a dish 1000.2
satellite 119
lnb power on
lbn type ocs-dp
lbn freq 11250
22khz off
tp freq. 12224
diseqc 1.0 port 1
motor off
legacy sw none
s 67 q 91
110
all the same except port 2
s 67 q 0 (now if a put p1 then q goes to 91)
129
all the same except
lnb freq. 11000
and port 3
s 67 q 0 (same deal with port 1 it jumps to q 87 when I do that)
Do I have to separate the ports?
I have done it both ways and not had luck.

Re: Viewsat MaxHD no video or audio
When you're looking at port 1 119 what sat pops up on the little screen? If the poppup screen doesn't match the antenna setting you have something wrong with your antenna settings or dish alignment.

Re: Viewsat MaxHD no video or audio
ok this is good
110 comes up for port 1
at the top next to the s and q bars
At the risk of sounding stupid
what does that mean ? and
how do I go about fixing it?

Try a hard boot. My VSultra is fine at this time, however some problems with my VS7000pvr. never lose hope.

DO not put on P1, leave it P2... most likely your TP is not getting any sign (normal)
129
all the same except
lnb freq. 11000

Your lnb freq. 11000 should be 11750
s 67 q 0 (same deal with port 1 it jumps to q 87 when I do that)
Do I have to separate the ports?
save these settings
I have done it both ways and not had luck.

turn off (standby mode)
then turn off FTA from back or unplug the power for 30 secs.
Turn back on, DELETE ALL SCANNED CHANNELS
Rescan channels One sat at a time.
Good Luck!

Your settings appear good, 119, Port 1; 110, Port 2; 129, Port 3. Change TP for 119 to 12239 or on until you get a good signal.
If you are getting good Q and S from all three, then I believe you might be hitting on one of the channels that has gone to Nag 3. Put it on Channel 200, 202 and let it autoroll. Should bring it in. A lot of the channels have done the switch and so you will need to hit on an "active" channel for the autoroll to complete. Do not continue to change channels, as this will cause the autoroll to start over.

Re: Viewsat MaxHD no video or audio
When I put it on port 1 the sat in the top left appears as 110.
Am I correct in saying that I am aimed at 110?
Does that have to be 119 for port 1 or can it be as it is?
I tried adjusting my antenna as suggested I have the info off satfinder but it wont hit 119. I can hit 110 all day long.

Re: Viewsat MaxHD no video or audio
119 must be on port 1.
if you have pointed the dish by your own you should try to move it a little bit to get the right signal sat for port 1 and all others signal sats will be easy to catch.

The center LNB on your 1000.2 dish is to be aimed at 119.
In you Antenna setup choose E***star 7, 119.0W for the Satellite;
LNB Power - on
LNB Type - OCS-DP
LNB Freq - 11250
22KHz - Off
TP Freq. - 12239
DiSEqC - Port 1
Motor - Off
Legacy SW - None
Once you hit on the 119, you will see an additional line at the top right of your setup window
showing the Satellite you are hitting.
Once you have E***7 tuned in you will need to skew to E***110 and C***2.
Your transponder settings are important for you to catch a signal during setup.

Re: Viewsat MaxHD no video or audio
Yes I have to agree with gibahca, you need to align your dish a little more. It looks like you're close.
